For the second year running, we have been awarded the FCS Green Award for Large Business. We won in 2010, and also in 2009 in the Small Business category. We have won the award in every year of its existence so far.

The Phone Co-op is the only telecoms supplier to be awarded the Social Enterprise Mark.

Global Awards for Co-operative Excellence

The Phone Co-op received an honourable mention in the medium sized business category of the dotCoop Global Awards, given to those cooperatives who demonstrate a strong commitment to the cooperative business model. DotCoop also looked for co-ops whose missions and practices clearly demonstrate cooperative values, especially in their web site.

The Phone Co-op was one of 10 finalists in the small business category of the National Business Awards.

Co-operative Excellence Award For Reporting Standards.

At the annual Co-operative Congress, The Phone Co-op collected the Reporting Standards award for excellence in reporting its commercial, co-operative and social performance to its members. The awards were to celebrate the important contribution made by pioneering co-operatives to today’s co-operative movement.

Federation of Communications Services Green Award

FCS Green Award IconThe Phone Co-op joined BSkyB as winners of the first ever Green Awards presented by the Federation of Communications Services. The awards were introduced this year to encourage the telecommunications industry to address environmental issues.

The Phone Co-op was runner-up in the Sustainability category of the Oxfordshire Business Awards.

The Phone Co-op is overall winner at the 10th Annual Enterprising Solution Awards, designed to find and reward the UK’s most successful and innovative social enterprises – businesses that tackle a social or environmental need.

The Phone Co-op rated a Best Buy by Ethical Consumer for mobile and line rental services and recommended for broadband over the past 18 months.

Federation of Communications Services - Fixed Service Provider of the Year runner-up

The Phone Co-op was voted runner-up in the 2007 Fixed Service Provider of the Year awarded by the telecoms industry trade association. The awards recognise excellence and innovation and aim to encourage the communication and adoption of best practice.
