Global Awards for Co-operative Excellence

The Phone Co-op received an honourable mention in the medium sized business category of the dotCoop Global Awards, given to those cooperatives who demonstrate a strong commitment to the cooperative business model. DotCoop also looked for co-ops whose missions and practices clearly demonstrate cooperative values, especially in their web site.

Co-operative Excellence Award For Reporting Standards.

At the annual Co-operative Congress, The Phone Co-op collected the Reporting Standards award for excellence in reporting its commercial, co-operative and social performance to its members. The awards were to celebrate the important contribution made by pioneering co-operatives to today’s co-operative movement.

Federation of Communications Services Green Award

FCS Green Award IconThe Phone Co-op joined BSkyB as winners of the first ever Green Awards presented by the Federation of Communications Services. The awards were introduced this year to encourage the telecommunications industry to address environmental issues.

Green England Awards 2008 – Best Customer Service category
