Sign the petition, show your support - It’s a shocking fact that today the poorest half of the population owns a meagre 1% of the nation’s wealth. Just a generation ago it was 12%. As co-operatives across the UK gear up for the second Co-operatives Fortnight (25 June - 9 July), a petition has been launched calling for government action to narrow the gap between rich and poor in the UK.
