MPLS VPN

An MPLS Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a secure private network using ADSL, SDSL, Ethernet or private circuits to provide an easy to manage VPN.

It is designed for multi-sited enterprises and those with remote workers that need to simply and securely access their corporate internal network.

Without using expensive routers or security software you get the benefit of being able to link your sites and employees via a private IP network in either full mesh (every site can connect to all the others) or hub and spoke (sites can only connect to Head Office) modes.

MPLS VPN gives your business a high-performance Wide Area Network to run demanding applications such as IP telephony, email, file transfer and data sharing.

We can provide up to 8Mb/s IPStream Connect ADSL, up to 16Mb/s LLU ADSL, Annex M and Symmetric Assured LLU, up to 2Mb/s SDSL, up to 2Mb/s private circuits / leased lines and up to 1Gb/s Ethernet circuits.

What is MPLS?

In an MPLS (Multiprotocol label switching) network, data packets are assigned labels. Packet-forwarding decisions are made solely on the contents of this label, without the need to examine the packet itself, saving the time needed for a router to look up the address to the next node to forward the packet to. In addition to moving traffic faster overall, MPLS gives us the flexibility to divert and route your traffic around link failures, congestion, and bottlenecks.

MPLS enables companies to converge voice, video and data on a single network. MPLS traffic engineering and precise traffic routing allows businesses to pack more data into their bandwidth on hand and reduces router-processing requirements.

This cost-effective, fast and highly scalable network technology supports prioritized network traffic, predictable application performance, and built-in Quality of Service (QoS).
