Unfortunately The Phone Co-op will be withdrawing our lo-call Dial Up Internet Service with effect from Monday 31st March. This is because our wholesale provider have taken the commercial decision to no longer provide any connectivity after this date as broadband coverage has now reached 99% of all UK homes and businesses.
The numbers that will be withdrawn are 0844 055 70 70, 0844 055 70 71 and 0844 055 70 72 . You will not be able to connect to the Internet using these numbers from 31st March.
The Phone Co-op offers alternative ways to access the Internet including ADSL, mobile broadband and Superfast fibre broadband with extensive coverage across the country. Please visit this link to see what services are available for you.
We appreciate that this is disappointing news, but hope you understand that it is due to circumstances beyond our control.
The problems we experienced last week with our mail server have now cleared, you should now be able to send and receive email with no issues. If you are still experiencing problems it is likely that you need to re-enter your password. If you do not have your email password, please call our support team.
Some users of webmail are having issues acessing their folders since the outage occured. We are aware of this issue and the mail server engineers are workign on a fix.
Our project to move to a new email platform has made significant headway. We have selected a provider and are working with them to make sure the move to the new platform is as smooth as possible. We are currently in the process of building the new platform and testing how we will migrate all the email. We expect to make the move in the near future and will update this message once a date for the move has been decided.
