Can I use my current phone with your services?

Yes, any mobile phone will work with our services, but you may have to unlock it.

What does unlock mean?

Our mobile service can be used with any mobile phone, but some are locked to only work with one network or supplier.

Getting your phone unlocked is perfectly legal.

Contact your current supplier and request that they unlock your phone. Alternatively many local shops or markets will unlock phones, or you can use an unlocking website.

My phone was provided by Orange, do I need to get it unlocked?

Because our service uses the Orange network, you will not need to get your phone unlocked if it was provided by Orange.

What does refurbished mean?

Most refurbished phones are new handsets that have been returned by customers who decided to swap them for different model. They cannot be put back on the shelves, but are inspected and tested and offered for resale at a reduced price.

Refurbished phones may exhibit some small cosmetic flaws, and may not come in their original packaging. They will, however, be working fully and have a 12 month guarantee.

Can I recycle my old phone?

You can recycle your phone and raise funds for a good cause, alternatively you can get cash back.

There are a number of organisations who will take your old phone including:

What is your returns policy?

Whenever you buy a phone from us, your purchase is covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. You can return it for any reason within 7 days of receiving it, and we will issue a refund.

Any phones that are faulty within 21 days can be returned for credit; they must be complete and in resaleable condition.

What do I do if my phone breaks?

The first thing to do is reboot your handset. This is a simple thing to do, but solves the majority of problems you are likely to encounter. To reboot:

  • Switch off your phone.
  • Remove the battery.
  • Wait 30 seconds.
  • Replace the battery and switch the phone back on.

If these steps don't rectify the issue, call our customer service on 0845 458 9000, and they will do their best to help you.

If the phone is really dead, and is under 21 days old, we will arrange to have it collected, and will then repair or replace it. After 21 days, the phone is covered by the manufacturer's warranty and will need to be returned to them.

What if my phone is lost or stolen?

To report a stolen phone to us, please call customer services on 0845 458 9000 (Mon-Fri 09:00-19:00), or 0845 458 9072 (after 19:00 and at weekends).
