Can I become a mobile customer?Only customers who have chosen to become members of The Phone Co-op can take up our mobile services. Membership only costs £1, though with an interest on your investment of 2.25%, it's worth investing more. You can also get a "divi" based on how much you spend throughout the year, so that pound is money well used. What is 3G?3G is the third generation of mobile technologies. 2G supported text messaging and WAP (limited internet services) at dial-up rates. 3G supports video messaging and video chat, and full web browsing at broadband speeds. See the features available on our service. Can I keep my phone if I switch to you?To use the latest and greatest 3G features, you need a 3G phone. Many recent phones are 3G compatible, but you may need to get yours unlocked to use it with our services. If you are using a phone that only supports 2G features, we have a selection of 3G Nokias available to buy. |
Can I keep my number if I switch to you?Keeping your number is no trouble whatsoever - you just need to get a PAC code from your current supplier. What are the call charges?Pay as you use from as little as 4p per minute, or take one of our bundles: 400 minutes and 200 texts can be yours for £25. Data is just 7.05p per MB.
