Are calls billed by the second or by the minute?We bill by the second and round up or down to the nearest penny. What is your minimum call charge or connection charge?The Caller Plus tariff minimum call charge is 1.2p. Evenings & Weekends and Anytime have a connection charge of 10.9p for non-inclusive calls. What's the difference between a minimum charge and a connection charge?A minimum charge is the least amount you will pay for a call. Although we bill per second, a minimum charge is applied at the start of each call, and no call will cost less than this amount. Once the cost of the call exceeds the minimum charge, we continue billing per second, rounding the final call cost up or down to the nearest minute. With a connection charge, we bill per second from the start of the call, not applying a minimum charge. Then we add a flat fee for the call to reach the final call cost. What is your daytime period?Any calls made Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:00 will be charged at daytime rates. What is your evening period?Any calls made Monday to Friday, between 18:00 and 08:00 will be charged at evening rates. What is your weekend period?Any calls made after 23:59:59 on Friday, until 23:59:59 on Sunday are charged at weekend rates. How much are calls on your Anytime tariff?All calls under an hour long to local and national, 03, 0845, and 0870 numbers cost nothing, all day every day. After an hour, calls are charged at 7.6 pence per minute. There is a subscription cost of £4.95 per line per month

How much are 118, 0844, 0871, 09 etc calls?The costs of all these calls are determined by the full number dialled. Not all 0844 or 0871 calls cost the same. First check the number you are dialling against this booklet of Special Rates to see what the charge code for the call will be, then look up the cost in our full price list. Do you have a special Directory Enquiries Rate?The Phone Co-op has arranged a special directory enquiries rate for all telephone customers. An enquiry made from a Phone Co-op line to 118114 will cost only 34.7p inc VAT, a 5p reduction on the regular charge and one of the lowest rates on the market. With this service you can request more than one number at a time, saving you further call costs. What are your International Call rates?Here are some example call prices.
