Running a speed test on BT lines

If you are experiencing slow speeds on your Phonecoop broadband connection and your broadband login name ends in:-

@adsl.thephone.coop @adsl.phonecoop.coop @thephone.coop @surfdsluk

please follow the instructions below:

Open your web browser and type in the following web address: http://speedtester.bt.com

You will then be taken to the BT wholesale speed test site. To start the test enter your telephone number in the field marked "Telephone Number" and click on the Go button.

After a short period you will be asked to enter your broadband login name.

Enter your username and click GO. The test will now run.

When the test completes it will display the speed test results.

When checking the speed of your connection please run a series of three tests over the course of 24hrs so we can see how your connection is performing throughout the day. Then e-mail the results along with your broadband login name, postal address and broadband telephone number to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
