Creating an e-mail account: Mozilla Thunderbird 2

Start Thunderbird and click "Tools" then "Account Settings...".

Click "Add Account".

Select "Email account" and click "Next".

Enter your name and E-mail address in the boxes provided and click "Next".

Select "POP" and enter "pop3.phonecoop.coop" as the "Incoming Server".

Enter "mail.phonecoop.coop" as your outgoing server, or if you are on one of our saver packages, enter "mailllu.phonecoop.coop". Click "Next".

Select "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" from the left hand box.

Select the newly created outgoing server from the right hand box then click "Edit".

Untick the box labelled "Use name and password" and make sure secure connection is set to "No". Then press "OK".

Press "OK".

Click on "Get Mail" and enter your mailbox password. You should tick the box to remember your password then click "OK".

Your E-mail account is now set up.
