Enterprise Fund

Setting up a new charity, co-op or social enterprise?

In addition to charities and coops, there are circa 70,000 social enterprises in the UK all set up to make a positive difference.

As a business member you can apply to our Enterprise Fund. The fund is designed to offer social enterprises, co-operatives, charities and other ethical organisations a bit of help when they are starting up or are looking to expand their services with us as part of a period of growth.

The fund offers up to £250.00 in the form of a credit on your Phone co-op bill. The money can be used to pay for any products or services provided by us, including fixed-line, mobile, broadband & cloud communications.

Are you an existing customer looking to expand?

This fund is also open to existing customers who wish to take on additional services with us as their organisation starts to grow. The same amount of up to £250.00 is available to go towards the provision of these new products.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible, you must be a Social Enterprise, registered charity or co-operative and must agree to use The Phone Co-op's’ services for a minimum of two years. All applications are reviewed on an individual basis and we have already issued grants totalling over £14,500 to provide help our fellow ethical organisations.

For new customers, if your organisation has been advised by a recognised Social Enterprise business advice agency (such as a Co-operative Development Agency), you will be granted a credit account without having to go through a credit check.
