Fair Do's CIC and The Phone Co-op are a fair pair

Fair Do's is a fair trade social enterprise based in Cardiff, selling Fairtrade products from farmers and artisans from the poorest parts of the world. They pride themselves on stocking the widest possible range of fairly traded goods that will fit in their shop.

“We chose The Phone Co-op for two reasons, not only are they friendly and efficient, but they’re a Co-operative” - Jan Tucker, Fair Do’s Manager.

Not only do they work to sell fair trade products, they work to raise awareness of fair trade too, visiting local schools in South Wales and providing interactive workshops for children.

Fair Do’s is proud to be involved with the work of educating young fair traders in local schools. They are passionate about the message of Fairtrade reaching the younger generations and offer several services to teachers and pupils in order for this to happen.

Fair Do's aim to minimise their environmental impact as a business and endeavour to provide a first class, personal service to their customers, something the Phone Co-op help them to achieve.

They began using The Phone Co-op as their telephone provider in September 2005 after having numerous problems with their previous provider.

“It was very easy to do a switch from our previous telecoms provider to The Phone Co-op and we’ve not had any problems since, both our telephone line and billing have been perfectly managed”. - Jan Tucker, Fair Do’s Manager

Fair Do's is run by a team of 8 part-time staff members and a further 8 volunteers. They find the Phone Co-op easy to work and are happy that the values of the Phone Co-op suit their values.

“We’re very happy with the Phone Co-op. They are a pleasure and a delight, and whenever we get cold calls about changing our telephone provider, we say ‘there’s no point in giving us prices, we don’t want to change provider’… as we wouldn’t want to leave The Phone Co-op” - Jan Tucker, Fair Do’s Manager
