As part of our continued efforts to improve our services, we have been reviewing the future of our co-op email platform. After a period of careful consideration, and consultation with our board, we are pleased to say that we have agreed on a transfer to Innovation.coop t/a Mail.coop who have offered an alternative solution to allow our customers and members to retain their email addresses, as we are unable to continue supporting this service.
For customers who have already made payment to Mail.coop, you will receive login details and instructions on how to import your emails to the new service. If you haven’t received your login details just yet, please don’t worry, they are being sent out in batches to allow our customer service team to provide the best support possible. Instructions on how to initiate the email import can be found here. Alternatively you can watch this short video tutorial to guide you through the process.
Our dedicated support channels are open, you can contact us via email, emailtransfer@midcounties.coop for any additional questions or concerns you may have.
You can use any number of programs to access your Phone Co-op email address from Windows Mail, Thunderbird or Mac Mail. You can find links on how to setup access further down the page.

What's the difference between IMAP and POP?
IMAP and POP are ways you can download your emails from Your Co-op systems to another email application. When you're setting things up, you'll need to choose which one to use.
Here's what they do.
IMAP
Emails stay on the Your Co-op system even after you've checked them on your computer
Whatever you do with your emails happens on all the email applications and devices you're using
You'll need to be connected to the Internet whenever you want to check your emails
Best if you're using different devices for your emails, like an iPad or smartphone
POP
Emails stay on the Your Co-op system until you check them on your computer
Then your emails move from the Your Co-op system to your computer
They won't be on the Your Co-op system anymore
Your emails stay on your computer so you can read them even if you aren't connected to the Internet
